Last August while wandering about our Ecology Park, I saw quite a

few Black Wasps taking a break among the wild flowers. I've never

been fond of getting too close to them, yet they've always fascinated

me. I didn't manage to get close enough to get a really good capture

of the compound eye - maybe this year!

This is an excellent shot; the wasp stands out clearly and distinctly against the snowy white of the flower. Points to you for get this close.

Macros need to be sharp and you fully succeeded here. Then you combine fluffy with an artistic stroked background.  Nice job!  

For what it is worth, I intensely dislike wasps since as a child of about 3 or 4 years my head accidentally hit a nest. You can guess what happened after that.
