2015 Like an ad

My friend K wants to be a model in product advertising. So, we did a

shoot as a mock champagne ad, at least in part. This is the shot that

best fits that idea. I used a speedlight with a snoot to light up the

bottle with a more specular light. Most of the light is natural.

The colors are almost lurid and the sense of ennui is palpable. This falls somewhere between a grown-up fairytale and a Mickey Spillane detective novel.

I think you achieved your goal Chuck.  Not your usual photo style for this kind of ad but changing it up keeps things current!
