Hi Colin,

There are many things I like in this image: the way you captured the wonderful heavy atmosphere of Scotland when the weather is threatening, composition, sharpness of the foreground, the fact that the eye is led from the foreground to the beautiful snowy mountains background.

One thing that slightly disturbs me is the fact that the middle- and background look a little patchy/blurry. Is this a problem of depth of field, an effect of HDR or is it simply caused by the resizing/compression?

Great shot anyway. Well worth a 6!
