Limestone pavement formed by water erosion since the last ice age.

The stone blocks are Clints and the voids between are called Grikes.

Thanks for posting this.  I had never heard of this place.  I can imagine that it could look exceptionally beautiful at sunset or sunrise.  The deep cracks look great.
