Time, maybe some Bondo (plastic auto body sheet metal repair material) and

lots of primer have altered the original appearance of this 1955 Chevrolet Truck

parked by the side of a road, housing an indigent,a wire for a microwave

leading into a nearby industrial building and a 'For Sale' sign on the window.

I photograph in more than one style and genre.

Your comment reflects exactly the sort of market for whom this photo was directed.

You are very perceptive.

I have other, more 'signature' styles, as well, as I am sure you know.

I like to 'mix it up' here on this 'fun site'.  After all, what's the fun of submitting just for rates and views; it's more fun to try things out and get interesting comments like yours.

Thanks for an interesting and perceptive comment.

I like the perspective you chose here, John. the rusty center section is reminiscent of a rural highway going through the countryside. Of course, that goes well with the subject of the well-worn car. The whole thing speaks of many roads traveled.

Very nice.

There's a poetic sensibility to your critique -- a certain sensitivity well expressed.

I happen to like this photo, which is quite a departure for me, but then if one looks at my unposted captures one might get quite a few surprises.

Your simile is well made, and I enjoyed your comment.

Thanks so much.
