Good lead in for this bloke, as we look leftward out of the darkness we see a door knob, sweet, a Dutch door nob to be exact.

 

Not that I was looking at that guys butt but that gage to his rear is interesting, along with the drain pipe, get a bike and throw it there.

 

Anyhow, well done

 

 

Absolutely wonderful composition. The interesting details and the division of lights and darks along with the hulking protagonist make this a superior image.

There is a special mood to this image - it is expressive yet dark in mood for a couple reasons. The very dark door on the left is symbolic - his hunched and pained look along with a supporting walking stick or cane tells me something. His upper portion is dressed for cold weather and this is contrasted with sockless feet and the type of shoes he is wearing.

I am sure there is a story here and I believe you have captured it well.  Very Good (6)
