Tapsu is getting fed up to the constant sounds from the lake. Ice is moving

and keeps him alert all the time. However, he has also noticed that it is only a

"nuisance" - and hopes that Spring will come soon:)

Jack - There might be some truth in that as he shares a lot time with me, as do all dogs which/who are "family members":) These dogs get more attention and training compared to those who are "outside the pack". Dogs have actually more information material on us/owners in comparison to the amount we have on them. They are also more dependent on us, and this creates very good basis and relationship if we do not humanize them, although they have many tempting features for us to do so. They are dogs and we are humans, who are "pack leaders" for the close group they feel being part of. I can read him well - and he responds well and logically to my commands because of the training, breed and unusual intellect, making most tasks easy to him. I still feel that I am no match to his senses - as he is no match to my intellect and practical skills. Together we make a fine team and even more complete with my daughter. So, the alter ego theory is way too flattering to both of us:) Photographing true animal behavior is demanding and knowing the animal/model takes obviously more time and interest than a regular model photo shoot. However, it is also more rewarding at times when you get this kind of positive feedback. br Hannu
