What a wonderful companion Caramelle must be when you are out searching for 'images'. This one is so lovely. It would actually make a lovely Family Greeting 'Card' or included in an email to Family.  I love the jet trails in the sky as well. Your beautiful dog invites us into this beautiful Winter scene.

So perfect it looks fake (that's a compliment) ;-).  I'm amazed that Caramelle can walk in the deep snow... Mike

Thank you kindly.Caramelle was just so tired, she just parked herself there to rest and it was just right for the shot.

Thank you so much.Caramelle is really good company but in her excitement, she goes all over the place and in a scene like this, she can spoil the fresh snow;fortunately, her tracks can be cloned out in PP.Here, she provides that good spot of color.

Thank you for the compliment.I had not come to this spot for some time but somebody gave me a call to tell me about the exceptional build-up of snow in the trees. This is a good distance from the main road and I had forgotten my snowshoes but there were fresh snowshoe tracks from the church,so by stepping softly,I managed to get on site with Caramelle tagging along-leading the way.In this area, the snow was blown so hard,I could walk on it...always stepping softly. The build-up in the trees the right was more than 15 ft high;in the open areas, walking around was not a problem but near the trees, the snow can be soft, even with crevices so I was concerned that Caramelle might disappear under the snow. She managed to keep out of trouble and here, she stopped totally exhausted. When I joined her on this little overhang,it broke off and I fell on my back....in the snow. After an hour of this,Caramelle decided it was enough and walked back to the car and waited for me patiently.
