I like the simplicity and directness of this photo, and I think that's both testament to the interior design and the framing and composition of this photo. Without having seen this place, your photo gives me a clear idea and I think that is exactly what the photo aimed to do.
The only downside I see is the rather harsh light in the back, and the different white balance in the shadows outside, which give it a very cyan-blue rendering. Possibly choosing a slightly warmer white balance would relief it a bit without 'hurting' the interior too much.
