QUIET DUSK

Homer wrote of the wine-dark sea at sunset, and man has been contemplating it ever since.  Away from the world of instant communications, man was able to look out beyond and think thoughts that would have difficult to arise today. The architecture so well represented here is a remnant of those times and reminds us of a more meaningful existence. A striking image, filled with depth and beauty. 

Let me say that from the night of times, the times of Homer, the sea at dusk still being haunting, mesmerizing, it is in our DNA. The west coast of Sifnos with his silent solitude invites to slow down, to see beyond the simple things. Thank you very much my friend.
