today in the garden I saw first new spring flowers even very small

ones. This is a very common wild garden flower from March to Nov.This

bud has no more than 5mm but just when I saw it on screen I discover

details never seen before like all this thin filaments. In bg I used a

same flower that was completely opened.I will come with new photos

from my garden with first crocus that has so vivid color.

Impressive details you have seized in this tiny bud and equally impressive image you have turned out with your elaborated background. This is a welcomed sight and sign of true spring, far from the blizzard which is raging here right now.Good work my friend!

Beautiful work Radu ! Great idea and execution. Spring, exciting time for you! Looking forward to more of your original images. We have Autumn now,we have mild winters so there is always something in the garden or the greenhouse. Very best regards Col.

Dear Radu, it's a gift to look at this work.

You've decided to incorporate a dominant round form (opened flower) at the background in the composition and that attracts our attention and makes difficult to look away from the image.

This perfect symmetry of the round form does not interfere with the corners of the presentation. Nor it downplays the half-opened flower.

Photographing a garden should provide many challenges and defies, but I'm sure the reward at the end is greater, as to create such "pure" works.

Tight petals present a nice contrast with the background and the hairs of the sepals remind me of certain insects (spiders' legs).

The proximity of the macro is impressive and allows us to enjoy instants and flashes that human eye is unable to appreciate without aid.

The treatment of light and color is very successful, so congrats, Radu.

An extraordinary work of high quality.

Warm regards, Laura.

Laurent, with lot of snow you had this winter and blizzard too I think that some flowers from me will change a bit the mood there. In day time weather here is almost good and low hills have no snow, just on top of mountains there is plenty of it yet.Nature has own clock and hope day by day to see more colored flowers round the house.Thank you for your comment.

Laura, always I am looking to have an image with more than visual impact and if I feel this after I worked it this means is ready to upload.I think that in our life all the time simple things can have strong impact, this can be a shape,a color,a fragrance, light, etc. We have so many things to admire round us and make our life better,I wonder many time why we have so big variety of flowers, butterflies, birds or splendid landscapes, seascapes, or splendid sunset and so many other.I think the answer is that we as human being must admire all this and appreciate the creation, and if we can share few of this with our friends this will be very good.I appreciate your completely comment on this photo and is a delight to me to read this words, thank you.

Very pleasing with visually impressive details Radu. Lovely Colour and POV. I look forward to seeing how big this flower actually gets.   The blue/periwinkle background is so soothing.
