bur oaks at dusk

I kept this version intentionally on the dark side and the oaks as a

dark, featureless silhouette. the next image is a long - term exposure

with the same tree brightened up by light painting. I am not sure

which one I prefer. Any suggestions?

In any case, I sure love the dark blue evening sky here, which is lost

in the later exposure.

I like the tranquillity and the dark beauty of this nicely composed shot! That kind of atmosphere is too rarely seen on PN.

Thank you Alain. For me it was the first warm night of the year. It's still freezing cold in Connecticut, but it was almost summer in Iowa, so I enjoyed lying in last year's dry grass and enjoy the night sky.
