The sun-light like mothers warm every where, every one, every thing __so sweet, so great! Amazing effect of light & shadows, great DOF, sharp details, nice tones, beautiful result as usual, Dimitris!            Best regards

I really like your presentation of this image Dimitris!! What a beautiful flower to honor Mothers with.  Bright and sunny, smiling, hardy, flower that speaks so much of 'Mothers'.  Most often our Mothers are selfless, hard working, arms outstretched (reminds me of the posture of these daffodils), welcoming us into their arms no matter our age.  How fortunate we are if we've had loving Mothers. They remain with us, near in spirit, long after they are gone....memories of their tenderness, constant care when we were ill, expressions of the Joy when they first see us after a long absence....I could go on and on.  I often sit in the evening, when all is quiet, and purposefully try to recall memories of my Mom.  I don't ever want to forget all she meant to me, all she did for me, and what a wonderful example of Love she was to us children.  Thank you so much  for reminding me a bit early of Mother's Day.

Wishing you the very best always, Gail

In the UK Gail, Mothers Day was on Sunday the 15th of March...and you are so right in what you say. We are so fortunate to have had Mothers who gave us UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Mine passed away too, but hardly a day goes by that I do not think about her....It's not a Greek habit to give Daffodils to our Mothers. These flowers are in full bloom here this time of year though and we already have a lot in our garden. Perhaps that explains why daffodils are given. The picture that inspired the picture above is from my granddaughter to her Mum that she drew on canvas at school when she was just five last year.

Warm regards,

Dimitris.
