WOW, won't be using that trailer any time soon :-) I wish we would get some snow like that! A great documentary image, it really tells a story. Nicely done.

Amazing!  I don't dare show these to my wife or you would have visitors ;-).  She thinks she likes snow but a week of these depths and her mind may change... Mike

Where do we send the heavy coats? Probably can't wait til spring ... I enjoy your winterscapes but sure I am glad I am so much further south! As always ... thank you for sharing your part of the world ...

Every year about this time,we think the snow will be around till summer.....and then the melt.Wish with the turn of a button I could make your wish come true and transfer this lot to you.Thank you again for looking in and for the observation.

Snow is great but its charm quickly disappears when you have to deal with it.I had to don my snowshoes to get here as the long road in is still too much for my old tractor and.....I have extra shovels for any visitors that stop by.Thank you for looking in and for the observation.

Thank  you kindly. No need for the heavy coats now as temperatures are on the rise...around -10C at night and sometimes above freezing in the daytime;soon we will be in the maple syrup zone,a sure sign of spring.St-Patrick's day usually brings the last major snowfall,so hope is in the air.

If something like this would come on my area I think we have nothing to do that wait to melt all this snow,Laurent your location is with hard conditions to live imo and is amazing once again in my mind how people adapt for this,is nice to have snow,I like it, but there is too much.In another train of thoughts this is part of life where probably most of you were born and this looks natural and short summer is appreciate at maximum.

all my best thoughts to you

This winter has been very cold and with a lot of snow, but some winters are not as hard.As you say,we are used to these long winters/short summers, but as people get older here, some will move south for six months and return only for the summer. What is really tragic is for our wildlife, especially deer, moose and the bigger animals whom are cut off from their food supply on long snowy winters.Thank you my friend for the thoughtful reflection.

Salutations-Laurent
