Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 12, 2015 Somehow I didn't expect such a classical presentation; it caught me a little by surprise. But it's certainly a strong shot and one I like very much. Link to comment
glasslakesphotography 0 Posted March 12, 2015 I love the contrast on the model, and the choice of lighting. That said, the curtain on the right is a major distraction, as well as the window to the left. The eye has too much wiggle room to wonder around this image. The high-key lighting look to the exterior buildings is a cool look and could be put to use to texture the backdrop and keep the eye focused on the model. Also the trim piece interrupts my view of the subject, and pulls my eye away up and right of the model. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 12, 2015 Certainly a lovely model, but I agree she gets lost in the surroundings. I think a crop may be in order. I would certainly like to see a close up of this lovely model though. The b&w tones and lighting are very good also.Holger Link to comment
color 3 Posted March 14, 2015 I appreciate all of your comments and suggestions. I think this shot could work fine with a variety of crops. If I ever print this I might experiment with that. Link to comment
