One really MUST view this one larger!!! Fabulous capture with such excellent detail, light, and colour in the plumage!!! You really should frame this one...or even enter it in a Contest!!

Thanks Gail! I wish I had open the lens wider to get a higher shutter speed and blur the background some more. But, it's happen so fast I had no time to even think and got a bunch of blurry images and got lucky to get this one sharp. One of the key thing in wildlife photography is to use the f-stop to blur out clutter background since animal tend to stay in places with very busy, uggly background, btw.

Yeah, I agree with Gail, this is superb.  The amount of detail and the iridescent colors are amazing.  Well done and this guy knows how to eat, a little crayfish etouffee is always good... Mike
