Dear Bill, long time since a new work of yours. I'm very glad to see you post something new again.

Eyes ... are the garishest in this portrait. As for me, his left eye corresponds to "physical age", a weary eye, but his right eye is equivalent to mental age or soul: young, awake, alert ... in a state of infinite need to know.

There's a strong sense of conciousness, self-being in this right eye, as a reflection of the awake soul.

The face emerging from the mist, conveys much mistery to the portrait.

You've used an appealing tone.

Congrats Bill, and welcome again.

Kindest regards, ㋙

I really like the pale subtlety of this portrait, it almost ghost like the way it manifests itself from it's misty background, like a symbol of a physical all seeing presence in a dream world.

Beautifully done Bill!

Pierre , Patsy , Laura and Alf . Thank you for taking time to comment . I very much appreciate them . I used a Grey and a White layer with masks to achieve the effect . I'm attaching the original so you can judge if it was worth the effort . His left eye is artificial so obviously doesn't react to light . Bill

Dear Bill, it was worth the effort!.

I love both portraits, the B&W portrait is astounding! I thought it was a lazy eye, but a natural one. It has impressed me.

Thanks for sharing :) kindest regards, ㋙

Yes, it is like Byron is emerging from a fog or mist. I feel like his eye is really connecting with me.  Well worth the effort Bill!
