Nice and sweet portrait, great use of DOF!

Hi Michael, I like the square frame and shallow depth of field. I do however find this vantage point a little too high and I might try moving down about 2 to 3 feet to be on a more even level. The light also looks a little flat and perhaps could be helped with a little reflector from the side.

A black reflector could be placed on her left side to subtract the light so her right side would have more light on it creating a three dimensional lighting on her face.

Strange, I don't find the light flat at all, it highlighrts the facial features which I find very pleasing. I too like the effect of DOF here. A charming portrait, bravo.
