Donna Stavis 0 Posted February 25, 2015 Mehmet,What first strikes me are the reds, particularly the red textile (shirt?) bringing out all the other reddish tones in the stairs, the top of his head and flesh, etc. Beautiful. The pattern of the calm backdrop (and slightly agitated waves) are restful. The water is restful. The composition as a whole is beautiful, restful, meditative with the center figure in a private moment. It feels slightly like an intrusion on him, yet he is presented more of a component of an entirety, of prayer and serenity. It's interesting that we do not see much of his face, yet faces are examined in many of your postings. This feels universal in "message," or at least how I feel when I view this and when I meditate... Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted February 28, 2015 I really enjoyed reading Donna's interpretation of this image Mehmet and can't help but agree. I just noticed the man's eyeglasses. I like the expanse of steps above him, it speaks of his 'journey' to me. Lovely! Link to comment
dennisbarnett 0 Posted April 20, 2015 Beautiful photo, Mehmet! A wonderful composition that has the eyes scanning the entire image and leading to the subject. The touches of color are perfect. Link to comment
