Your Western Grebe courtship captures are again very interesting. We are thankful to witness this "second hand". I, Verena, think that the one on the right is the female!!!! I am the discriminating sort:):)

Very interesting the whole series of images showing the behavior of the courtship of these birds, even the exchange of food was well represented, the lighting was favorable, well visible the red eye, ciao Giangiorgio

Thanks Verena! LOL, may be Greg has a diff. opinion ? /jk ... from what I read, the male got a longer beak but it's hard to tell between them.
