Impressive landscape, but a hard farm life.

Your comment is not totally off as people in these high altitude and steep mountaneous areas have developped a body structure proper to their rugged environment.As it was pointed out to me,their thorax is noticibly larger to accomodate surely bigger lungs required in the thin air and the legs are slightly bowed as a result of the continuous steep climbing and descents.

You are right on both fronts;great landscapes and hard work to farm this especially that all  is  done by hand/animal pulled equipment-no tractor here,all the more credit to these hard working/honest people.Thank you for the kind observation.

What beautiful terracing!  I can't even imagine the difficult farming procedures.....makes us realize how lucky we have it!  Beautiful shot!
