Historic barn in northern Indiana. I thought his old barn should be placed in

the architecture category.

Supremely sharp, perfect exposure and very natural color; all just like being there.  A real life Currier & Ives moment. Rabbit tracks? ...Mike

Tack-sharp and perfect exposure.  It is very difficult to get exposure right with snow but you have nailed it.  Good work.

Nicely composed image. In particular I like the way you have utilized the fence posts to frame the scene.

This has a very authentic and sincere ring to it. It captures a very familiar bit of Americana and does it quite well. I particularly like the way the one fence post leans to the left and the simple yet sophisticated overall feel.

Thanks for your kind comments and affirmation about the exposure.  Shooting snow always gives me fits!  I have to tell you a funny story.  I attended Rocky Mountain School of Photography last summer, and they preached 'Your camera is good enough', meaning that you should not let your camera limit you, and you shouldn't feel like you need to go out and buy the most expensive equipment.  So when I found this old barn that said 'Good Enough', I immediately had to share it with the alumni from the school.....as you can imagine, they all loved it.

I think you got a fantastic capture Christal! What a beautiful day with that lovely blue sky, patterned by those soft clouds. It is lovely and crisp with detail and not overdone at all. Beautiful work. Good to hear you enjoyed your Photography Course and that you are still communicating with your classmates!

A picture perfect postcard image Christal. It has it all, great color, sweeping sky, the hoof prints in the foreground and a red barn. Awesome.
