big skies A street in winter!

the wide angle, street and wire/poles reminds me of a desolate place in old westerns, Laurent...it has an ominous appearance to my eyes...then again, i think it may be just me...nice picture...regards....David

I like your comparison to my favorite old time western movies,but nothing ominous here....just a small  town half buried under repetitive snowfalls and now under attack of artic cold air....tonight,temperatures will dip to -35C and yesterday,daytime temperatures when this was shot were around -20C.On this one,I thought the good sky sort of wrapped up the general ambiance;empty street because everybody is getting a hot coffee at Tim Hortons(see the yellow sign peeking over the snow mount).Thank you for looking in and for the appreciation my friend.
