Trash the Dress 2

I took a wedding photography class, and they told us about a custom called 'Trash

the Dress' after the wedding. They literally trash the dress by jumping in a lake.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I just don't get it! Anyway, this is proof. I'm

submitting one other Trash the Dress picture, and I'd like to know which one you

prefer. Thanks!

No doubt one of those one of a kind designer dresses costing $10,000 minimum!! Ah! Its only money, right! Great shot because of the marvelous pose and also the reflections. Nice work.

Actually this is one lucky bride.  These 2 are actually models for the wedding class I took at school last summer.  So I'm sure it's not a real expensive dress, and the school will pay for the cleaning of it for the next 'modeling' session.  :-)  Still, a crazy custom, I think.

Lovely shot. I like the warm light, the reflection  and the romantic embrace.

There are risks with trashing a wedding dress in water as highlighted when a Quebec lady died back in 2012. Where she drowned is a favorite spot of mine in the Fall but if I was doing a 'wedding dress trash' I would never go there.
