Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 6, 2015 I am always astonished by the possible resolution from these inexpensive Canon Digital Rebels. Here I used the T2i with an L lens and got great resolution. Attached is the original file from which this was cropped. This picture was made February 13, 2014--almost a year ago. So far we have had no snow this year in the Charlotte area. --Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 6, 2015 What can the Canon Digital Rebels do with L Series glass? Well, in myopinion, they do very well. Comments welcome.--Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 6, 2015 Oops! Well, forget that. This was shot with the EF-s 18-135 IS. It isn't usually my style to go inside to change lenses during a snowstorm, but apparently that is exactly what I did. I think that I just pretty effectively refuted my argument for using L glass on the T2i. --Lannie Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 6, 2015 All that said, this shot and many others were set at f/8. Most anything will look petty sharp at f/8. In addition, it was shot at 18mm--sort of hard to mess up there as well. --Lannie Link to comment
dianedh 7 Posted February 7, 2015 Nice one! I really like the color on the crepe myrtle trunks against the snow. Link to comment
