While San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge is actually orange, the main bridge

in Sacramento is really gold, presumably in commemoration on the nearby

1848 Gold Rush. State Capitol is barely visible in the distance.

Yeah, when my students visit San Francisco, they are always surprised that the Golden Gate Bridge is actually orange.. This one is truly golden. Your picture would make a great postcard of Sacramento. (What else would you show?)
