Abandon

We humans are like this old structure. At one time we had our use,

productive people of society but as we age, that is all forgot about.

We are abandon, crumble and eventually return to the earth.

Nicely seen, the building becoming part of the landscape. Nice use of IR (I believe it is), often it is difficult to pre-visulize. You nailed this one.

Nice IR and observation on the human condition.

Very nice presentation of atmosphere. I particularly like the composition and the tree presence, as both the source type generator of the wood for building and also part of the vegetation that will eventually absorb the building. I presume you used IR rendition and a sort of sepia overlay?

 

My take on the subject is however a bit different, in that man's constructions may be forgotten and gone as physical artefacts, as this abandoned building, but his imprint on his society is not, at least for some witnesses in future. The building of this shed or house had a past, with a person of ideas and objectives which cannot be reversed.

I like the photo and the IR treatment is very good. Some of the comments and your description of it are a bit to deep for me.
