'The Headless seagull of Sleepy Hollow'.   What is it with these gulls?  One has a comfy resting spot & another just has to occupy the same one!  Seems to be a universal gull trait.  You must have seen this coming.  I had a similar experience this past summer.  I love a sharp image & this is one.  Best, Len.

I could sit for hours photographing gulls. On the day that I shot these gulls I had just got my new 70 - 200 lens - and yes Len, you are right about me seeing this to come. I just pointed at the pole and pushed the button - and pushed the button - and pushed the button -  and pushed the button - and pu..................  I went home with l o t s  of sea gull pictures and some of them turned out to be interesting. The very next day I had nothing because my comp crashed. I had lost everything - documents as well as all my pictures and it was ages since I had made a backup. Well - big girls don't cry ........ for very long. They look forward to the next time they can sit and shoot the gulls.

By the way I love your attachment with the headless seagull and the very nice one with his head.
