Fox (abstract)

My first reaction was not liking this image very much.  I thought the fox was too indistinguishable from the rest of its environment.  But the more I looked, the easier it became for me to change my mind.  I realized that I had taken the image too literally.  It works brilliantly as an abstract.  The dark tones across the background and those toward the center become points of attention, while the fox simply blends in.
