Labrador Wearing Banana Hat

Well at 9 weeks old, I didn't think I would be doing shoots with fruit

on her head so soon, but I gave it a go this afternoon.

At it again, I see!  :-)  This little girl looks like she's just tolerating you.  Her eyes look sad, and she doesn't seem to be 'participating in the game' as the other older dogs did.  They looked so alive.....like they were enjoying it.  Maybe she'll get better with age.  We all do, right?  ;-)

I guess it's just how you interpret the "sad" puppy eyes she has. At 9 weeks old, those third eyelids are out more giving the sad look. To me, with the way she is lieing and head and ears up, she looks perfectly content and actually happier than Winston looks in his banana picture. This was 2 days after the ice cream shoot, and up to just about an hour before this shoot she was sitting outside my closed studio door whining, wanting back up on the set to eat more ice cream. As soon as I opened the door, she was very eager to get back up on the set. I lifted her up and she laid down in this exact spot, watched me set up my camera, and stayed put throughout the shoot. This was taken right off the bat, so she was still engaged and had just eaten a treat 5-10 seconds prior. Don't worry, no plans on doing a whole series. I do kind of wish I thought of this 3 weeks ago when she was half this size and would fit nicely in a basket full of fruit, wearing a banana hat.
