There was something bordering the real and unreal about this scene I

recorded in New York city about 9 years ago. At the time I didn’t

know how to represent the sensation so I just filed it away. Recently

while rummaging through an old dusty hard drive, I saw the image again

and instantly knew how I wanted to process it. Georgia O’Keeffe was

right – “It takes time to see”. Comments and critique appreciated.

I am always reminded of what Eddie Van Halen said one time. "Walk away" He went on to say that some of his biggest hits were songs he was constructing and got to a point where he could not go any further. At a later time he would revisit, his mind was clear and fresh and able to complete the project.

Currently I am doing the same with old images and find I have opend up a new world to look at.

Good thing you came across this, or else we would not be talking about this.

Tony,

Thanks.  It's sometimes like looking back into a time capsule and viewing how you once "saw" and interpreted things and seeing what skills you have lost and gained.

Janegbert,

Thanks.  Yes, it is sometimes good to go back and reconsider our works of yesterday.  Thanks for the encouragement.
