overdiep 0 Posted January 24, 2015 Pierre, You are writing a story. He is now in wonderland. I love the tints of green colours in this landscape, including the extraordinary green of the grasshopper. Best regards. Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted January 24, 2015 I do like your creative approach to our world Pierre.Tell me, do you get your inspiration from the Hookah? I do not mean to be so forward, I just need a kick start and I don't know if I should go artificial. Link to comment
DavidRabinowitz 8 Posted January 24, 2015 excellent surrealistic image Pierre...i like how the branch directs the viewer, signaling the path...the grasshopper seems ready to greet people...there also seem to be a foreboding feel to this...almost as if he is walking into a place where he might find something frightening...regards....David Link to comment
andrzejp 6 Posted January 24, 2015 Relatively simple image but such a complex load of emotions. Fantastic! Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 24, 2015 I'm going to say this is the one time I wish you'd have left the grasshopper out of it. I understand that its inclusion adds to the surrealistic feeling but I think the twisted trunk in the foreground and the blank sky would have been enough to convey the feeling of unreality. Pierre Dumas 231 Posted January 25, 2015 Jack, Only you have something against the grasshopper and maybe I! To me it doesn't fit aesthetically, better was the lizard, but I didn't want to repeat myself, he is everywhere on my pictures! Thank you for your serious and honest warning! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 231 Posted January 25, 2015 AJ, Each time I think of olives I think of that specific olive grove, but I think the desert was somewhere in New Mexico and it can hardly be that! Thank you for your contribution! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 231 Posted January 25, 2015 Better solution according to my opinion: P.S. The difference in size was my mistake! Link to comment
