Let's Go Argos.

When I have the time I scan old slides and film negs and I have to be

selective as I literally have hundreds and hundreds of them, mainly

snapshots of my children. This particular picture was taken in Toronto in

Nov. 1982 with a Canon Ftb on Kodak Ektachrome film and scanned on

my Nikon super coolscan 5000. This was my one and only time that I

watched American football live, I was taken there by Canadian

colleagues and I was truly impressed with the crowd behaviour. Argos,

(A Greek name of course - :)), is one of the oldest teams in North

America.

It must have been quite exciting to see the Argos Dimitris. I've only seen them on TV. A great memory from that trip that you took with your Canadian friends. Your scan and resulting image is very impressive. Nothing like making old and fond memories come alive!

Yes, I am very fond of old pictures as you rightly said, they make old memories come alive...A lot of people are desperate to post a picture that was taken 'five' minutes ago...-:).
