Whether by accident or intention, I like the play of light and dark here. The warmer tones of the house bracketed by stands of trees are very well handled. I especially like how the house seems to emerge from the thickly shadowed woods on the right

In PP,I tried this with a tighter crop removing all of the dark area at the right of the tree on the right edge and slicing the left side at the edge of the tall tree. I came back to this as the dark treed area blended with the dark shadowed end of the house and the left side balanced it out with the roadside snowbank catching the parallel shadows of the tall trees on the other side of the road.Glad you like!

This one is strange... The way i see it, this is an abandoned sad looking house BUT because the soft light on it compared to the environment still projects warmth and invites me in.

My complements.

Don't go in because all you will find are collapsed floors.Glad you viewed and liked how the light acted on it....thank you for writing in.
