Boy, cold is right and you're welcome to it. when the temperature dips below 5 degrees C here in Osaka, I sequester myself indoors. A delicate hot house flower such as myself could never survive a winter where you live. I'll satisfy myself with your pictures and eschew the real thing.

Oh how I wish +5C was our coldest, especially since I turned 70....my skin must be getting thinner because I also want to stay in if it's colder than -20C.Anyways,I appreciate that you keep looking at my stuff and always look forward to your calculated observations.

Merci et meilleures salutations my friend-Laurent

The way you have composed this image, there is lots of eye candy, lovely depth, light and interesting forms.

I'm curious why you chose ISO 400.  Sharpness, especially in the sky, may have been improved with ISO 100 and you still could have hand held this.

Of course you are right. No reason other that after 1/2 hour in this level of cold, the ISO 400 compensates some for the shaky hold on the camera with freezing hands, but I will take your advise and try this at lower ISO.Thank you for looking in and for the observation.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
