All I can say is WOW!.  This is a great BIF shot.  With the tight crop you see lots of detail including the eye which is tack-sharp.  Bravo!

Thanks Bill! I was shooting American Wigeon duck taking off and notice all the loud sound of commotion. A glance out of view finder and I can see a glimpse of the Northern Harrier flying after all the birds ... I continue shooting and got about 5,6 good shot of the Harrier. It would have been better if I had shot with just the 500mm lens (without the 1.4x TC III) but I am still lucky to get him with a glance back like this.

 

If you ever go to SoCal, let me know so I can at least give you some infor. on where to shoot. Greetings from SoCal!
