I had a 6 hour layover in Panama City recently and took a $60 cab ride from

the airport to this new Frank Gehry designed museum to have a quick look. It

turned out the museum is closed on Tuesday and the security guard wasn't

agreeable to my taxi stopping in the driveway during a rainstorm so that I could

take a couple of photos. It got even uglier when I asked to walk up the stairway

to take some photos of the typically quirky Gehry architectural features.
