owen_omeara 1 Posted January 11, 2015 A beautiful image with superb dynamic range. The skin tones are wonderful and the detail in the hair is amazing. I love the color here but, as you might guess, I would love to see you post it in black and white as well. -Cheers Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted January 11, 2015 A wonderfully pensive moment brilliantly captured. The photograph makes me want to know more about her and what she was considering at the time. Her skin gives this the feel of a toned monochrome photograph, which I like a lot. If this was mine, I would crop the left side in a bit so all you see there is her hair. Link to comment
wink_photo 0 Posted January 11, 2015 David. Beautiful shot. I agree with Mark about the cropping. Dana... Link to comment

andrzejp 7 Posted January 11, 2015 Brilliant! Not much else to add. Or perhaps there is- I would crop it slightly on the left to remove light glare. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted January 12, 2015 The scene, the colors, the lighting, the psychological approach...great stuff, David! Best regards PDE Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 12, 2015 Thanks everyone. The crop doesn't seem to be too popular. This is understandable. I deliberated over the crop. Even though I realised it would look better with just the hair on the left, I included a little of the other girl's skin just to make it clear she was there. I wish I hadn't. Raymond, Kind words. I hope I deserve them. Owen, I had a funny feeling you may like this. I am glad my feeling was correct. As for the black and white version, I haven't even looked yet. Mark, The monochrome feeling hit me too. As for what she is thinking, I have no idea. As for knowing more, you know as much as me. Dana, I am glad you have seen this. Jack, I am glad the tenderness shows through. Andrew, I am glad you like it. Pierre, This one seems to be a winner. I am glad you took the time to comment. Thanks again everyone. Link to comment
