frigo 4,155 Posted January 11, 2015 Thank you so much.As you probably guessed, this is by far the most challenging and at the same time satisfying type of image taking as one walks away with much more than just a photo and I miss this dearly...but that's how it is.Glad you like this one.I attach another shot of this little guy in color.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 11, 2015 When I first arrived in Peru in the late 90's,the Peruvians were just coming out of their bout with the Shining Path group and any stranger generated suspicion especially in remote areas, but after the proper introduction, the smiles were there and more so whenever a return trip was possible.Glad you like this one and thanks for the appreciation.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 11, 2015 Everyone seems to love this one and I'm not surprised. You've gotten it just right and captured the kid's personality perfectly. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 11, 2015 Thank you. This was 15 years ago and this one probably has his own toothless kid running around .......just wondering how it would feel to return and see.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 451 Posted January 13, 2015 Fantastic portrait of this baby with no teeth and no hand, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 14, 2015 Thank you.No teeth for sure but I don't know/remember about his left hand; I thought he had just drawn it inside the sleeve to warm up.On another shot, the hand is also missing but I will have to check out further in my files if I have another angle.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 14, 2015 Thank you kindly. When it gets too cold to go out and shoot here,I slip back in my files and scan a few old shots.Glad you like.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
