Thank you!This light snow coating adopts the shape of the underlaying sand and can easily be mistaken at first sight.I have desaturated the image and in B/W,I have gone from -20C to well above freezing,more to what you are accoustomed.Right?

A note to tell you why the reminder is so strong.  On the panhandle of Florida and the small section of Alabama that borders the Gulf of Mexico, the sand is just as white as snow.  Your original shot is the way this scene would have looked on the Gulf coast.  As for warm, the temperature last night was 15dF at our house.  That is very very cold for here...  Mike

Now I remember from my trip to Florida a few years back.Yes,that is cold for you so far south.Here,we are in the midst of a cold spell...last night there were temperatures of -37C inland (record) and here on the coast it was -25C,with the wind factor this feels like -40C;I am just in from scraping the snow off the varenda and it is COLD....but in a few months,it will be melting.
