Best Seen Larger. Comments Appreciated

While lost in an early snowstorm in the Gobi, my driver used

Mongolian GPS...Ger (yurt) Positioning System. This is where you

stop at every ger (yurt) you see and ask for directions until you get to

where you want to go. Some helpful souls lead the way for a bit.

The larger view of this picture really brings home the feeling of desolation. You really seem to have an adventurous life and I very much enjoy sharing your experiences from the comfort of my warm room.

Thanks. I did an hour and a half presentation to a standing room only crowd with slides and video clips from this trip a few days ago. I have attached a link to the 25 minute video I produced and put to Mongolian folk music. You can just sit back and enjoy and not have to listen to me drone on. :-)  BUT, if you are interested I have twenty six pages of e-mails combined into one document sent to friends while traveling.
