I see beauty in old buildings as well (especially this one).  The larger view is loaded with good detail.  It is well composed, has good lighting, image is level.  Bravo!  You nailed this one.

I always try to imagine all the stories contained in these old walls. Good shot.

I know from experience that shots like this are not easy.  Usually the trees and weeds overwhelm the building to the point that its character is lost.  And pictures of old houses tend to be gray and washed out.  This picture has enough building detail that you can still get a feeling of the lives that came and went there.  And there is enough color and warmth here that the viewer is not overwhelmed by a feeling of sadness and despair.  This picture is nicely balanced, and worth looking at for a little while to absorb the feeling that you have captured.   Very nice work!

Jim....thanks for your detailed comments.  I was actually surprised at how the colors turned out on this.  The camera sometimes surprises me in what it picks up.  This was a drab, dreary day, but luckily I was able to coax a little warmth out of it.  Glad you could appreciate it....thanks so much!
