A picture eloquent in its simplicity, its peeling and patched wall and its spiky shadow. I like the tones here also. I feel like I'm in Spain (maybe I am, I haven't checked where this was shot).

Hey Jack, This was shot in San Diego's Old Town. I was going for a digital photo lith look here and I'm sure purists would think this far from all of that but I'm liking the result of my process in Silver Efex Pro through Photoshop.
Thanks for the kind words my friend!

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for sharing AND thanks for introducing me to Manuel Alvarez Bravo!  Just spent the past half hour looking over his work and really love it.  I also totally respect your homage and think you've captured a bit of his spirit, so (no pun intended) Bravo!  for the image above i really like the balance and creamy tonality.  The grain and focus gives it a salt print look.  There is a nice balance of structure and forms.  The window perspective looks odd and almost appears as a trompe l'oeil piece.  Great use of negative space.  Overall i really like this and keep up the great work.
