I like the selective color here but I think allowing a bit of color in the sky (even just a hint) would have balanced the picture a little better.

Thank you for the observation and as hindsight will remind one, when I retouched this using the saturation curve, there was some bits of light yellow on the sun side(left) in the sky which I erased with a slight move on the curve. Now I see what you mean as the top is totally B/W and creates that unbalance.I'll keep your wise suggestion in mind next time I go this route.

Thank you kindly. My favorite spot for seizing the good skies we have here;this is practically high noon when the skies are best and taken with my ultra wide lense with polarizer.

Thank you for looking in and for the suggestion;it does soften it up some and I think enhances it.When I was tweaking it,I came up with some yellow blotches in the upper left and decided to stop here.It looked good in color but too close to some other shots I had of this one of my favorite spots.....Season's Greetings to you and yours.

Hi Laurent,

All the best for you and your laved once as well.

I used sky from some of your other picture in this series and blended a little color form it. Ether way it is a very powerful image and I like it a lot.

Thank you again.I have uploaded a sister shot of this one(right arrow) with the sky left with a little bit of color as per J.McRichie's original comment.
