I still see my old spaghetti western town, and loving it PD. I like the POV of this one looking up at that nice blue sky. Take care.

Best Always,

Holger

Liking the painterly effect on this most unusual, but perfect perspective.  I can almost see adding a canvas texture to this also.

Thank you, Holger!

This is a different style painting, but you still see old western town! And it is old Turkish style of urban architecture!

Thank you, Trisha!

As I said above in the reply to Holger, nothing western present here! It's Balkan with its Turkish architecture remains!

That may be but it could still pass for an old western ghost town. Even after looking at the light fixture I thought it could pass for an old gas-lit lantern. Beautifully done whether western or Turkish! All the best, TJA :)

Grazie mille!

Creative and beautiful. I am thinking I would have kept the original as the bottom layer, process a 2nd layer and then bring back some of the writing. Still very good 'as is'.

Thank you, Tony, you are right!

There are a lots of variations, I concentrated this time to gather all my old houses pictures and filter them to look like paintings with the new filter which was my dream for more than 15 years!

Dear Pierre, I'm also following these days your series of "old houses" pictures. Because I too love abandoned places. They have something special. For me, the strength of this image lies in the diagonal, is the most striking thing. And the wall missing too. There're high lights in the sky and some parts of the buildings that guide the eye of the observer to the center of the image. I think the composition, perspective etc.  are very well accomplished.

Then, I personally fully agree with Trisha :)

I also see an old western town. I know it's Turkey, but imagination is awakened in very inhospitable and unsuspected places.

I look and I look... and I can hear air hissing in the silence of streets, all people are hiding. The bad guy has just arrived with his gun. Something "deserted" comes to my mind. S'thing fearful.

Looking at your picture, I've grabbed my guitar ... ummmm ... you need a tune of the Old West to set the mood, yes ... Pierre, imagine all the people rushing home, scared to be dead, to express their hurry and fast feet, I've used a "tremolo" (melody, mi-mi-mi-mi-mi ....) hurrying feet... scared feet.

Imagine the bad guy with butt resting in his lower lip, stopped on your street, under those walls of your image, under your sky ....  bass sounds will speak for him .... Listen and look at ... what do you see, now, ummm? Trisha's right, yeah? .... Mi-mi-mi-mi-mi whistling the tune ...

Tune-mp3 especially for Pierre Dumas and his deserted town (old west town)

Jajajaja  it could be your mobile tune :)  I get lost in your pictures.

Congratulations and thank you for sharing, kindest regards, Laura.

Dear Laura,

I thank you for your thorough interpretation, correct you in some parts though, for example it is not Turkey, but Turkish traditional architecture in my country and when I agreed with Trisha I meant of the architecture used in, for example New Mexico and don't know exactly where else on the wild west which is with Spanish origin!

Thank you for your tune which is also a mixture of Spanish and Wild west music!

Saludos cordiales
