These birds look so powerful, the impressive claws do not only serve to catch and carry fish, but to carry branches skillfully. thanks for letting us better know this magnificent creature.

Thanks Greg & Verena! Yes, they dived, legs extended with talons out just like they are catching prey. I had some of those spectacular shots but unfortunately none are sharp .  I am supprised that you got all that from looking at this series of images ( very perceptive) but you got it in total!
