lynnemass 10 Posted December 15, 2014 There is a complicated story to be deciphered from this capture. Well seen. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted December 15, 2014 This story did start with the image 'Straight but Dizzy', next to this one in the portfolio, plus an explanation. Here I'm thinking now, the Legionair possibly started his day off with alcohol, this in his backpack, the latest especially ment for 'drinkables' like water plus or without supplements. An easy way of drinking is possible by the pipe accross his shoulder and here behind his neck. The shot was a rather fast reaction, I visually hardly do remember it. Only the wish in getting cap, face plus pointing finger close and properly. Friends, thanks for your curiosity, the reaction and the passing by..! Ps In fact I wasn't out for sensation, but feel sorry for this younger man, maybe innerly sick of the practice of the duty in killing etc. Yes, I'm clearly aware of things like that. Yes, I feel sorry for him. Link to comment
trihelm1 3 Posted December 17, 2014 This the one I like, It conveys a great deal. Experience makes me agree with the sentiments you express, and the young mans expression, which you have well captured seems ( to me ) to express a great deal of sadness, possibly at leaving family, friends, girlfriend to return to duty. Very well captured.Rgds. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted December 17, 2014 You really do me, us, a great favour by reacting again. Especially by 'confessing' your personally experienced feelings seeming recognizable here. Maybe the next will tell you a lot as well: in Ukraine have Ukrainian (!) Armoured Vehicles been spotted, driving from Kramatorsk in the direction of Slawiansk. These vehicles were provided with Russian signs (!), by that showing an in fact Western 'False Flag Attack' is soon possible overthere. That's not 'politically correct', but I feel sorry for many troops. (While shooting the ISO-setting was too high here.) Link to comment
