panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted December 11, 2014 What a feast of colors we've got here Kyrie Petraki! :) Nice to be having a coffee over there and then take a dip whenever you feel warm...Cheers! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted December 11, 2014 Welcome and thank you, Bill! Those who sell the filter Simplify describe it as for making watercolors, ha! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted December 11, 2014 I have them a lot now, AJ! Thanks for your nice comment! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 264 Posted December 11, 2014 Panayotis, The photo was taken in Greece on the island of Evia and the cafe was in ruins, pity! Thank you for your visit and comment! PDE Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted December 11, 2014 Quite an artwork, but I am sure that you contributed to that ... inanimate objects take on a life of their own after a while, a bit like the old building you told us that you knew since your childhood .. this one appears to have a colourful past, who knows what stories it could tell also .... nicely presented Pierre. Pierre Dumas 264 Posted December 11, 2014 It was made with logs and planks and I don't remember any color, but the filter made the colors too, John! Thank you for your imaginative comment! PDE Link to comment
Grazie Pierre. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted December 11, 2014 Marvelous technique and style PD. I like this one almost as much as the Bazzar image. Both are very good .BR,Holger Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted December 12, 2014 You're really putting your new filter to good effect. It's not the tool but how the artist uses the tool and you use it extraordinarily well. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted December 12, 2014 Pierre, that tool is very addictive - I know! Brilliant result but you had to have a good original to get this result. Keep on trucking! Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 12, 2014 You must have been thinking about Joseph's coat of many colors when you created this image. Here we have a multicolored, multifaceted tapestry gently sheltering the water below. More pastels, Maestro? My best always, michael Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted December 12, 2014 This painterly effect works so well with this image Pierre!!! It is very 'artsy' and not overdone. Beautiful result that is truly impressive. Link to comment
