I generally like images with both cool and warm tones.  This has that and so much more.....dramatic sky and a lovely tree line.  Glad you were able to get out and photograph the snow.....but I'm sure you'll get plenty more chances!  :-)

Thank you for the kind observation and you are right about plenty more chances;it is sort of compulsory here for the next five months.....with snow or no photo.
