the camera flash.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Beautiful snow shot and I like how warm and inviting the lights are in the house.  It looks like Caramelle came out with you :-)... Mike

This will be my background image for the whole Christmas holidays.
When you live in a Mediterranean island, and by the sea, snow and scenes like this exist only in our wishes. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you kindly. It was one of those rare nights when the snow was falling vertical, rather exceptionnal here as we are in an intense wind corridor....and it was relatively ''warm'' out, just ideal to flash on those big flakes.Pretty hard to get some undisturbed snow when Caramelle is around as you noticed.

Thank you for reserving a choice place for this during the Holidays;we will raise our glasses to your health at Christmas dinner.Funny isn't it that we,in the snow belt dream of spending the Holidays under the warm sun you are enjoying in the Mediterranean....as the saying goes:''The grass is greener....etc...

This really catches the feeling of the season and how good it feels to be snug inside with a hot buttered rum or a brandy coffee. I love the double tracks in the snow. This could be your Christmas card.

This inspires me to do some "christmas" shots if i can find the time.  I am going to check and learn from your shutter speed.   All the very best,

Lovely Christmas shot! I love the snowflakes and the foot and paw prints! Very welcoming and warm scene despite what must be very cold temperatures. I've only seen snow twice in my life at Christmas (once when I lived briefly in Washington and once when California had a freak weather system which brought enough snow for a day or two - long enough for my kids to enjoy making snow angels). I would love to live where there are true 4 seasons! Very well done and enjoyable photo! Thank you for sharing. :)
